Who we are and what this covers
This website, switchoffline.co, is operated by Offline Labs Ltd, trading as Offline ("Offline", "we", "our", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales at 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones we use on this site, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally. If the two conflict on anything to do with cookies, this policy takes priority.
We may update this policy when the tools we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device, remember things like your cart or your consent choices, and tell us and our partners how the site is being used.
We also use technologies that work in a similar way:
- Local storage and session storage: data saved in your browser rather than in a cookie file. Local storage stays until you clear it. Session storage is deleted when you close the tab or browser.
- Pixels and tags: small pieces of code that let our advertising and analytics partners record that you visited a page or completed an action, such as adding to cart or buying.
In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these unless we say otherwise.
Cookies are either first party, set by switchoffline.co, or third party, set by another company whose service we use on the site. They are either session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay for a set period. The tables below show which is which.
How we ask for your consent
When you first visit the site you will see a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set straight away because the site cannot work without them. All other cookies are only set if you accept them, either all at once or by category.
You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of the site. Withdrawing consent stops new cookies in that category being set. It does not delete cookies already on your device, so you may also want to clear them in your browser (see "How to manage cookies" below).
Your choice is recorded in a first party cookie so we do not ask you again on every visit. We also pass your choice to Shopify and the apps that run on our store, so they only set cookies in the categories you have allowed.
The categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories. The first does not need your consent. The other three do.
Strictly necessary. These make the site work. They run the cart and checkout, keep you logged in, remember your country and currency, apply discount codes, protect against fraud and bots, and record your cookie choices. Set by Shopify, Shop Pay, Cloudflare and our consent manager. You cannot turn these off through the banner. Blocking them in your browser will stop you buying from us.
Performance and analytics. These tell us how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, what is added to cart, and where people drop off. We use this to fix problems and improve the site. Set by Shopify, Google Analytics and Klaviyo.
Functionality. These remember choices you have made so you do not have to make them again, such as your language, products you have viewed, and whether you have already seen a sign up form. Set by Shopify, Klaviyo, PayPal, TikTok and YouTube.
Targeting and advertising. These record that you visited our site and what you did here, so that we and our advertising partners can measure whether our ads led to a sale and show you relevant ads on other websites and apps. Set by Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok, Klaviyo, Shopify, PayPal and YouTube.

The tables below list the cookies found in our most recent scan of the site. "Until cleared" means the item is held in your browser's local storage and stays until you delete it. Some cookies appear on both switchoffline.co and shopify.com because our checkout is hosted by Shopify.

How to manage cookies
On our site. Use the cookie settings link in the footer to accept or reject each category. Your choice applies to this device and browser. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser, you will be asked again.
In your browser. All major browsers let you view, block and delete cookies, and block third party cookies by default. Look in your browser's settings under privacy or cookies. Blocking all cookies will stop the cart and checkout working.
With the advertising networks directly.
- Google: adssettings.google.com to control ad personalisation, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on to block Analytics in your browser.
- Meta: ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- TikTok: ad settings in your TikTok account.
- Many networks at once: youronlinechoices.eu.
Opting out of advertising cookies does not mean you will see fewer ads. It means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
International transfers
Some of the companies above are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where cookie data is sent outside the UK we rely on an adequacy decision or on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Our Privacy Policy has more detail.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add or remove tools on the site. The new version will be posted here with a new date. If a change means we need your consent again, the cookie banner will ask for it.
